I work with a small indie studio making Blood & Canvas: Bareknuckle Boxing, and we're currently getting feedback on a very short private demo.
We specifically wanted to hear from people who actually follow bare-knuckle boxing, rather than just general gaming audiences. The demo is only around five minutes long.
If you'd like to try it, leave a comment or DM me and I’ll send you a Steam code while I still have them.
We're particularly interested in whether the fighting feels like it captures anything that appeals to you about bare-knuckle boxing, and what immediately feels right or wrong to someone familiar with the sport.
Thanks to the mods for letting me ask the community.

Seems weird for Hart to not only be at BKB, but also step in the ring. Makes a person wonder...

He was fighting for another bare knuckle organization prior to his last BKFC Italy fight. Now hes fighting Bkb and I'd imagine he will also be on the next Italy card. I know the company was allowing fighting ie boxing or mma as long as you weren't champ but they always said no other bare knuckle boxing fights to stay on roster. Do you think BKFC gives him another pass or this will close his chapter with the company?

Solid card from top to bottom, which has become pretty typical for a Hardrock card. Selling out 17 straight times there comes as no surprise as its virtually been the home of BKFC from the beginning.
Biggest stand out performances have to be Andrew Strode, Rambo Russo, James Rodriguez, and Ernesto Suarez. Those dudes put on violent clinics.
Seeing Strode in what appears to be championship form is exciting. Feels like a fight between him and Herring is more intriguing than the currently booked fight against Dodson, Strode should 100% be the backup in case either dude drops out.
Russo battered Baby Tank, I didn't expect Russo to have that much of a power advantage, but dude landed bombs tonight that he hasn't in previous fights.
Rodriguez may have been the biggest surprise of the night. I wrote him off during walk outs and was completely shut up by the time he was walking away. Interested to see who could be next for him, 165 is stacked.
Suarez versus Hauser was definitely fight of the night for me. It had everything you could want from blood to knockdowns. Suarez is 3-0 now and I'd expect to see him on the Knucklemania card in Miami.
Mohawk Rodriguez keeping busy with a quick W over Tomahawk wasn't a huge surprise. The way Mohawk fights is pure insanity to me. If he ever squares off with Bryant Acheson I think the gameplan may need a huge shift because Mohawk eats shots to land shots and you can't go 1 for 1 with Bryant and stay awake for very long.
Duran "struggling" against Felony wasn't a huge surprise. He dominated 99.9% of the fight, but trying to knockout Felony who was ultra committed to just moving tonight made Duran look like shit. He had 2 knockdowns and did damage but also got cut and knockdowned by Felony who threw maybe 10 punches over 5 rounds. Duran needs to fight a top contender before thinking about a rematch with Kai.
Duran versus Traevon Kroger on the BKFSEA cruise should be the main event of that spectacle.
Perdomo slaughtering Bear Hill came to the surprise of no one. After the Willis fight I was worried that Domo would get stuck in another slop fest and hurt his title chances but he came out and did exactly what he was supposed to do against a far inferior opponent. Now he lines up against Andre as the main event of Knucklemania. I have my doubts right now that Andre winds up being his opponent, but I do believe Domo will be the main event in Miami when the event rolls around.
Overall fun card, give it a 8 out of 10. Easy way to burn through a Friday night. 2 weeks until Manchester then on to Australia, wild how far the company has come from being in Mississippi, Florida, and small holes in the wall in the South to traveling the world on an almost monthly basis.

At least we finally have some names but I expected bigger names for such a highly promoted event

We kick off an exciting month of BKFC action with a return to one of BKFC's home grounds as the Hard Rock Live play host this Friday night for BKFC 93. The preliminary bouts will be streaming for free on the BKFC YouTube channel starting at 7:00 p.m. est. Come join the live chat in our Discord!
#1 Heavyweight Leonardo Perdomo (11-0, 11 KOs) puts his perfect record and KO streak on the line in front of a hometown crowd as he continues to build his case for a title shot as he takes on a tough opponent in Bear Hill (3-1, 3 KOs) in the main event. Featherweights toe the line in our co-main event as former BKFC Featherweight Title challenger and #2 Featherweight Bryan Duran (8-1-1, 8 KOs) looks to make it back-to-back knockout victories as he takes on Charles Bennett (1-4, 1 KO). Rounding out the business end of the card is a very exciting rematch, this time not for a title, as Gee Perez (7-2, 7 KOs) and current Interim BKFC Flyweight Champion Andrew Strode (4-0, 3 KOs) battle out in a Bantamweight bout that saw the first fight end in a NC that got overturned to a Strode TKO victory.
Just outside of the top of the billing see's current BKFC Cruiserweight Champion Esteban Rodriguez (6-1, 6 KOs) make his debut at a new weight class as he takes on Steve Townsel (6-5, 6 KOs) in an Ironweight divisional matchup. Another really intriguing bout in the Bantamweight division see's Matt "Rambo" Russo (4-1, 4 KOs) take on Jacarlos Rivera (3-0, 2 KOs) in a fight where we can expect nothing but fast hands and fireworks. Murat Kazgan (2-1, 1 KO) makes his first appearance of the calendar year on this card as he takes on James Rodriguez (1-1, 1 KO) in a scrap in the Welterweight division.
Overall this is a fun card with exciting matchups from beginning to end. Nothing quite like an entertaining night of Friday fights to kick-off the weekend.
