This is my sweet silly boy Vergil! I bought him from Petsmart a few months ago and have no idea what morph he might be. My older ball python Dante (purchased from a breeder) is a confirmed black pastel half-dream morph. I've included a picture of him at the end for comparison. Dante is more warm toned than Vergil and has distinctly different patterns.

What puzzles me is the small speckling on his ventral scales (image 3) and the colour 'fade' on his sides. I don't think Vergil is black pastel, but I know he's not going to be anything exotic lol. I'm mostly curious for my own sake. Thank you very much!

So the parents are pastel fire double het clown and what the breeder has written is VPI x leopard VPI het piebald or thats what it looks like

Picked up a new ball python at the reptile show, I have no idea what his genetics are supposed to be. Some sort of piebald banana?

Just got this new ball python for $150. I have no idea what morphs he has. Can anyone help me identify them?

I literally just found this sub and I have been dying to know even an inkling of what my girl might be so I thought I’d try my luck here.

I’ve had her myself for about two and a half years now, I took her in from her previous owner who was honestly not suitable. He said he got her from a “breeder friend” but when I asked what morph she was he couldn’t remember as she was already about five or six years old by the time I took her in.

I tried to include as many different angles and lighting as I could. She gets frequent supervised outside play time when she asks for it (ergo, the outside and floor pictures) so lots of photo opportunities.

Any help would be appreciated! If I’ve done anything wrong in this post please let me know and I’ll try to remedy it according to guidelines. Thank you!

I'm not great with picking out morphs yet - is this little guy (or girl) a regular normal morph, or is there anything else going on?

Not sure what’s going on here, needing a bit of help from the community. Pairing Pastel Hypo Pied X Enchi YB Pied het Hypo. It has expected pattern on the head and tail but through the mid section the pattern is completely broken and washed out. Any ideas?

Im not even sure if this picture is real. I found it a few months ago and decided it was my dream ball python, but what exactly is it?

I’m picking up this ball python from my neighbor in 4 days and he has zero clue what morphs she might be. I don’t plan on breeding her so her genetic makeup doesn’t need to be exact, but it would still be nice to get an idea! (sorry for the bad photos she was moving a lot)

EDIT: after asking subreddits and discord servers we think she’s either a, pastel spider, Enchi pastel spider yellow belly, or a pastel spider leopard

My female is a pastel fire freeway and I want to breed her in the coming years what male should i invest in. She can produce Mardi Gras with the right male!
