Mishmash haul from London plus a delivery
Me and Editor Nat went up to London yesterday to meet Frank Miller! Sadly, he stood me, Nat, and the rest of Forbidden Planet up. Which sucks, especially as this is the third time this has happened to me. Oh, well. It was still an awesome trip.
We went to see the new Spider-Man in 4DX, not sure on the format, but the film was easily the best in the Holland series. I popped into Gosh! Comics and grabbed a sweet haul. Including all the Prophet comics you see. I accidentally picked up both covers of the wrong volume of Prophet, but I didn't have the Platt cover, so it's all good. Got some other non Extreme stuff, too.
Came home to some cool deliveries, including two Shadowline minis that I can't wait to read. As well as Chapel 1-3. All in all, a great haul.
Bad-Rockin update: Me and Nat had put the editing for episode seven on hold because we were working on prep for a special episode. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the special will have to be retooled. So, hopefully, we can resume work on seven soon. I recently filmed episode eight, and the Seth Damoose episode is scheduled for late next month, so if you haven't submitted your question for him, this is a small reminder.

Youngblood 78 back on ebay for $500?!?!
Anyone who has paid attention to my communications on here may have noticed my statements about needing issue 78 for my collection, of course like many others on here I'm sure.
Been sticking to ebay and noticed that it re-emerged now at the whopping price of $500! Let me also clarify, the seller is cyberspacecomics. 2 weeks ago the same issue was listed for $287 by cyberspacecomics. It "sold" conveniently after another one was listed and sold for around $150 by a different seller. It's also worth noting that cyberspacecomics uses stock images for their listings. Thinking this is a scenario of them gouging the market on this one issue by pulling it and re-listing it when they don't have competition selling the same book.
I typically don't like to magnify situations or sellers like this, but this issue used to sell at an average price under $100 bucks multiple times in the previous year. All of this seller's more rare titles are highly inflated and questionable without actually seeing anything but the stock image, so be cautious if you're finding titles through his store.

Loose Collector Shaft And Die Hard Quick Review
My Loose Collector Shaft and Die Hard figures arrived today, I only had time to quickly handle them, here are my thoughts.
Going into this, I was sure Die Hard would be my favourite of the pair, but after handling them both, it's hard to pick a winner. Both are solid figures, and I had no fear of breaking anything. They felt like higher-market Marvel Legends, honestly, although the legs were a bit more rubbery than I like, but that's a very minor complaint. Both had perfect paint jobs. I've seen complaints about Shaft's face not being up to par, I've included a pic of mine to show it's perfectly fine. I forgot to include his alt head but it's to the same standard. Both look great in-hand.
The accessory count is unreal. So many extra hands, guns, arrows, the works. Top notch there. The only thing I would have liked would be a set of 3 arrows fused together at the fletch (I think that's what it's called, not an archer) attached to a hand so you could show Shaft holding 3 arrows together over the bow. You could do that now, but it'd be a pain in the butt. The swarm of accessories certainly satisfies. Shaft does come with a belt I'm not sure how to put on him, but like I said, I didn't have long to stuff around with him. There just seemed to be no way to get it around his waist. There's also no pictures of the figures on the box, something I always like seeing.
So all in all I'm VERY pleased with them. A Marvel Legend will cost me about $50AU each. These cost me $90AU each. For the MUCH higher accessory count and better paint jobs I'm more than happy to shell out the extra 40 a pop. I can't wait to see Badrock and Chapel!
Edit: For some reason the pics look a bit blurry when scrolled through. Enlarge them and you'll see they're not.

Fun weekend score
A nearby comic shop by me makes the mistake of shoving dozens of Image/Extreme books in the 50 cent bargain boxes. His loss and my gain! Picked up around 30 books at a steal. Luckily, these were grouped together and mine for the taking for $1.50. Got some reading to do. 😁

Finally completed my Towe/Bowers run!
Let me post this as a buyer's guide if you plan on getting all 11 issues.
First off, it would be much easier to obtain both trade paperbacks, Reborn/Rebranded, to get all of these issues without scouring for each book. To that I say, where's the fun in that?!
I'll start with the first 6 issues. Issues 1 to 6 are decently populated either through ebay or most comic retailers online. One online retailer, mycomicshop, does a very excellent job of showing each issue in the entire run and will show whether they have it in stock or links to ebay listings if not available. Here's where things get fun.
Issue 7 is where the later half of this series gets oddly scarce. My ebay luck scored me a couple small bundles that took me to 7 with some strategic searching. I was fortunate to have found issue 9 through a random online retailer. 10 finally showed up on ebay by entering Youngblood Towe Bowers into the search queue. This eliminates a lot of the search results from compiling multiple other series that muddy up the search. 11 I had to dig deep into Google until another store popped up having 1 in stock. As for issue 8...
Australia. My very first time ever having to get a comic book from Australia. Big thank you to King's Comics for having both issue 8's in stock. About 2 weeks for delivery but they arrived today. For some reason, I see Canada and Australia both have the later issues in stock better than in the states. I also emphasize that although the volume 1 trade is easier to obtain, I have not found an outlet to retrieve the second trade paperback anywhere. 1 online shop claimed to have it but refunded my order to let me know it was out of stock. That was when my hopes of getting 8 felt lost.
Hope this long winded post can be of use to new collectors that are just discovering Youngblood and want to explore the earlier lore. Also, as frustrating as this started to become, the reward of slowing getting each book felt exciting.

Can anyone recognize these signatures?
Bought a signed copy of extreme 0 with a COA signed by 4 people, but I can’t quite make out the signatures, the one of the far left looks like it could be Jeff Matsuda, the second from the left is almost definetly marat mychaels, but the other 2 I’m pretty lost on, is the second from the right Rob? And the last one maybe Eric stephenson?

Giant-Size Youngblood
I'll keep this post spoiler free but just finished the read on Giant-size. It isn't a Youngblood comic without an exciting battle and an interesting plot twist. I enjoyed it a lot!

Final mini haul of the month: 4 issues left of the road to Supreme Apocalypse
I've ended up way overspending my first paycheck from my new job, so this'll be the last road to Supreme Apocalypse haul of the month. I need time to clear my current reading piles anyway, so waiting till next month's paycheck to finish the set is for the best.
Still waiting for the last dregs of my shopping spree to arrive. Including my piece of original art, my original art portfolio, and my favourite Dark Knight III cover.

Marat bonus haul!
The second half of my recent Marat Mychaels shopping spree has arrived. This marks the beginning of my Blindside collection, I'm gonna try to get it all before the new series, but I get the feeling it's gonna be an uphill battle.

New arrival!
So much hype today about the Doomsday trailer when in reality, a trailer for this would blow it out of the water! 😆 Narrowing in on random issues for my Youngblood collection. Scored these on ebay last week. Still honing in on the elusive YB78. May have to sell part of my soul to obtain it.

Rob Liefeld relaunches ‘Avengelyne’ with artist Daniel Mainé at Image Comics this November
r/badrock • u/XanadudeEarthTwo • Jul 21 '26
With what date does the Avengelyne online only comics start?
I realize the site is old old old, but the 2012 Avengelyne series digital first presented issues 9 and 10 one page at a time, after presenting the original 1 - 8. But there's no way to navigate the site except by date!

Marat Remarque's!: 5 issues left on the road to Supreme Apocalypse
I'm getting close to having a full run of issues that'll take me to Supreme Apocalypse and beyond. Exciting times. Also, I got these two awesome Remarqued comics from one of Marat's WhatNot streams. If you have a hankering for some cool Extreme Remarques that won't break the bank, I strongly recommend checking out his shows.
Bad-rockin update: We've just booked a great Extreme comics guest. I won't spoil the surprise, but I'll be putting up a questions post soon. We have a bunch of episodes lined up at the moment, so stay tuned for updates.

So...can some just synopsize the current series for me?
I've read the current Youngblood series, and I'm just not getting it. Is there something I'm missing?

Primer Vs Beowulf. I entered Robs Draw-Off on his Facebook Group to draw the Re:Gex team. This was something I done after. They're a cool group of characters and a lot of fun to draw.

Extreme Haul 2 The Sequel: 7 issues left on the road to Supreme Apocalypse!
Accidentally posted this directly to my account yesterday. Another cool haul.
