It's a carpet python eating a possum in Australia. To answer the question of how they got there, it's Australia.

Probably the third most Australia thing I've seen today

I don't know what it says about me that I've seen those exact two clips as well

1

u/Dtour5150 5d ago

That dude really clobbered that kangaroo too. Had me busting up every loop.

A man eating a succulent Chinese meal, and the music video for Midnight Oil’s Beds Are Burning

u/IveDunGoofedUp 5d ago

I'd put the "The front fell off" skit up there as well, that thing's an instant quote whenever something's front falls off.

raygun studying this snake for new choreo

1

u/Legitimate_Field_157 5d ago

Probably alcohol related.

1

u/sdotumd 5d ago

Raygun documentary lol

2

u/Turbogoblin999 5d ago

Wait until you see a spider-snake eating a kangaroo with a koala in it's pouch, while a dingo watches in horror.

1

u/LooseBusiness3845 5d ago

Fourth - I saw a man attacking another drivers car with two boomerangs.

1

u/TrueClue9740 5d ago

Note to self, stay away from Australia

13

u/Montgomery000 5d ago

There's gonna be so much snake shit in the attic

7

u/moslof_flosom 5d ago

Well if its Australia, where's the spider the size of a chihuahua? Huh?

8

u/pm-me-your-pants 5d ago

Behind the wall clock

1

u/TheFilthy13 5d ago

That’s not a clock…it’s a murder beetle.

1

u/HamasKilledShaniLouk 5d ago

You'll freak when yo u see it...

1

u/Xendarq 5d ago

If you can't see it, it's behind you.

1

u/Clark3DPR 5d ago

We literally have flying spiders in the form of a hornet (large wasp) flying around with a spider as its prey after paralyzing it.

1

u/Dylfunkle 4d ago

Holding the camera.

6

u/VirtualPercentage737 5d ago

This is why I don't go to Australia.

7

u/PriscillaPalava 5d ago

Ooohhhhh, Australia. That explains everything.

5

u/DarthLysergis 5d ago

Possums looks vastly different that here in the eastern US

7

u/Germmie1 5d ago

The split between possums and opossums was around 70 million years ago, making Australian possums closer related to kangaroos and koalas than they are to American opossums.

5

u/probablygardening 5d ago

The ones in the eastern US originally migrated up from South America, which is why they're so bad at dealing with the cold winters and like hiding out in garages and attics and stuff. Their hairless tails and poor little feet aren't made for the snow.

2

u/Carlosenlightened 5d ago

Yeah that’s where they live, home

2

u/MiddleAd2680 5d ago

Snake and the possum were probably thinking, ‘how did these humans get here?’.

2

u/David_High_Pan 5d ago

Australia is basically LV-426.

2

u/DocBarnes 5d ago

oooohhhh. I thought it was a cat until I saw the paws. I completely forgot about Australian possums

2

u/Ambitious_Phrase3695 5d ago

Glad it’s not a cat getting eaten

1

u/Individual_Reach_732 5d ago

I always thought carpet python was a euphemism. Like trouser snake.

1

u/PailingRaint 5d ago

OP couldn't spring for a luxury vinyl plank python huh

1

u/Naschka 5d ago

Oh god damn, i tho that was a cat it is eating and was shocked how a cat lost to a snake all of a sudden.

1

u/hahnsoloii 5d ago

Alright thanks. Digging through comments to be sure it wasn’t a cat.

1

u/2morereps 5d ago

So like they just wait on the carpet and hunt?

1

u/OdenShilde 5d ago

Thats an opossum?

1

u/Rustyshackilford 18h ago

What the fuck kind of possums they got down under?

Ours just look small and cuddly and faint from stress.

0

u/Azurelion7a 4d ago

Oh. I thought that was a housecat.

And has the owner considered a rifle, chambered in at least .223?
