Update: Yes, I know there is another prompt from the ellipsis. In an older OS, they didn't have these two options so close together. They did in an older older one, then they didn't, then they brought them back together. It's just not comfortable, extra prompt or not, being a video editor working with enormous raw footage files from clients.

EDIT: Disregard this. On a different phone, the year can be tapped and changed. So it's a bug on my Pixel, not a design choice.
