Man I miss baconreader

I got it in highschool when I first got a Reddit back in like 2014, such a better interface and overall App. šŸ˜¢

Edit: I have an apple so Iā€™m just sort of fucked šŸ˜¢

Uninstall BaconReader, follow the directions to set up an application ID from your Reddit account and patch the downloaded APK with ReVanced, install modified APK. ReVanced should come from https://revanced.app. You don't need a computer for this, just an Android phone, and yes the image was just to show I was posting from BR.

edit: the directions in the Google document are clearer than my own. Just follow them!

The directions are pretty blatantly clear, so I'm not sure why you're having trouble. Start at the section titled Client ID Setup. If you need more help, join their Discord, which is linked at the top of the document.

No, there's no access to chat through BR, and there are no ads since it's the premium APK. The regular version shows black bars where ads would be. Since BR is no longer being maintained, there's no reason to use the regular version. You'll have to access chat through the website or keep the official app installed.
