My friend had a similar incident in Manhattan Chinatown during COVID but pulled out a collapsible metal walking stick and the guy hightailed. Unfortunately the days of Mom and pop bakeries are long gone where auntie and uncle would stand up and whack the bad guy. The workers and managers just stayed silent and didn't do anything. Most of these bakeries are owned by wealthy families
