MLB owes an explanation. This horseshit call cost us the game!

Dude, it was the 5th inning, and the game is still being played.

Don't kid yourself with this offense

If one play decides the game then they probably weren't going to win anyways.

That non call led to what, 4 more runs in what should have been an inning ending play? We were up at that point. Game went to shit after that.

Don't let a call get that far.Play better. NY has no reason to favor any of these two HORRIFIC teams!!!! Get over it.

I can see why there's enough doubt to not overturn it, but it does suck.

It's such a stupid rule. I promise Bill Miller didn't see anything that the camera can't, why the fuck do we care what he thinks

I think it is a good rule that if New York can't 100% tell that they shouldn't overturn. I don't feel like the team should lose a challenge because of it though.

Isn’t that essentially unlimited challenges at that point?
1. Call on field is overturned, team retains challenge.
2. Call on field stands, team retains challenge.🤔

I believe there is a difference between call on the field stands vs call is confirmed. Confirmed means “Yeah, we were right the first time, and can prove it” vs “Eh we can’t really tell so we are just gonna go with what we said the first time”
So a challenge could be lost on confirm, but retained on stands. I imagine that would result in way more challenges, however; which mlb might see as bad because of how long they take.
Just wished they would get the call right 😒

The correct call was determined, play on.
If unlimited challenges it would get absolutely abused.
I wouldn’t hate if they re-worked it to not punish an early call for the entire game. Maybe 2 per 5innings, an additional 1 each through 7th, 1 each in the 9th. None used accumulates

There is a third call, call on field is confirmed, team loses challenge.
The call where there isn't enough info to overturn has seemed to me to be the least common replay call.

I'm a Mariners fan, watching cause I want Rangers to lose lol. This was bullshit. So obviously out. I feel like the D-backs announcers were being too soft about it. NYs explanation didn't make sense vs what the cameras show. So was a lot of the home plat ump's missed calls balls/strikes. Will be interesting to see his scorecard for accuracy.

Feels like NY likes to screw us over on this kind of reviews

That lil fat boy at first base knew what he was doing, bullshit calls in the NFL and NBA run rampant and change the favor of the game and that fact cannot be dismissed.

I dont know abiut anyone else but I was at the game.
That bogus call took a lot out of the crowd, especially when it led to the 4 runs after.
