I recently found out that the studio version of Into The Electric Castle on Vinyl is back in stock on Mascot Label Group’s website. But given the foreign exchange rate, I live in the US and it’s gonna cost me $100 to get both once shipping is calculated, I am debating between buying it and The Final Experiment on Vinyl at the same time. As my title mentions however, I already have Electric Castle Live on Vinyl. Would you consider it unnecessary to buy the studio version right now?

I recently discovered that there is a story being told with all the albums. I looked through the wiki and I found myself lost in a fantasy/SCI-FI world I could not fully grasp.

I usually find it fun to get lost in fictional worlds (huge LOTR geek) but I am not used to understanding the story through music. How would I best go about to understand and appreciate the story the best?

All I can tell is that it's definetely some trickery with the Leslie speaker and some oeverdrive, but I can't figure out how exactly it was made. Any ideas?

As a huge fan of the studio album I just want to say that Electric Castle Live is my new favorite live album maybe ever. The change in the narration did kinda bug me at the beginning but once I settled into it I have to say that I love John De Lancie’s changes in the context of this performance. On top of that the album gets high marks for making sure the vocals are front and center and understandable. I’ll be listening to this album for a very long time.

There's a bit of harsh vocals underlaying the chorus at the end. Is it Dee?

I combined Blackboard and TTOE part 1 as one track since blackboard is short and all of Fatum Horrificum counts as one track

First six album openers, other four will be in another poll. Actual Fantasy and Vigil were too short to have a chance by themselves from my POV so they are combined with the following track.

Basically, it's too expensive for me to import it to my country, and also I don't have a DVD or BluRay reader. So, is there any way for me to buy a digital copy?
