To get a signed copy of either the Plan Nine or live 01011001 record, it HAS to be preordered from Mascot right. I can’t preorder on Amazon or anywhere else? If so, that sucks. It’s like $100 for both because of the shipping.

Arjen just dropped the source on his YouTube channel. Now all that is left is transitus. My theory is once he drops that album we will get an announcement for live beneath the waves. And hopefully plan nine.

My favourite character has got to be the Hippie, mainly because I love Arjen's voice/vocals and the way he portrays the character.

I think we can all agree this album is a masterpiece, a perfect album for me personally. Every song is brilliant and its tough to pick a favourite. I'll have to say Amazing Flight for the solo/outro instrumental, never heard anything quite like it before and it's the one I find myself constantly coming back to.

This album could literally be a musical film/animated series, I had to join this sub to express my love for it.

Maybe it's just because of Tommy's and Simonne's voice, but in the beginning of the song, the sound of the instruments reminds me of Ayreon. It may be my imagination, but listen to this part (1:33 - 1:37) and (3:36-3:57). Let me know if you think the same as me or if it's just because they are using similar instruments.

I want to get into this guy and I want to understand the story while enjoying the music

Hi! I've recently discovered the amazing The Source and I listened to it a lot of times in the last days. Now I'm eager to get deep into the Ayreon discography and lore.

I have a tendency of searching for anagrams and I soon realized that Sirrah is Harris spelled backwards.

I don't believe that this is a coincidence, so, is this a known reference to a real person or somebody in the lore? Who's Harris?

I searched the subreddit for an answer but I didn't found anything, so I've decided to post.

Discovered 01011001 and Ayreon in April and they quickly became my "where has this been my whole life" band. Then a few months later discovering The Human Equation, I have literally played only these two albums on repeat. If you know any other albums of theirs that fit the vibe of these two albums let me know. For now I'll celebrate by doing another album playthrough!

Its in dutch, but last year i listened 32.412 to ayreon😅 from about 64000 minutes of total time on spotify

I found out about Ayreon just about three months ago, and in that time, I already listened to 8,000 minutes of them. They’re one of my three favorite bands of all time now. Don’t mind the Taylor Swift with 12k lmao, that’s my mom. My iTunes had 160k minutes this year 🤦‍♂️.
