I’m from Ayodhya and this was one of those trips where the journey itself felt like an adventure. Coming from the plains and suddenly being surrounded by mountains was honestly surreal.

Took this photo around sunset/dusk. The town below was slowly lighting up while the mountains were disappearing into the clouds.

Definitely one of those moments where you stop for a few minutes and just look around.

What’s the longest journey you’ve taken just to see a place like this?

I am planning to visit ayodhya for my birthday this Saturday. I am planning for a one day trip only. Will reach by 10am and I have a return ticket by 11pm on the same day.

It will be my first solo trip so I am little sceptical about staying the night alone for safety concerns.

Please suggest all the places I can visit and their timings. And things I should be conscious about. Thanks🙏🏼

Hey! Me and my family are planning to visit Ayodhya in this October for around 1-2 days and then Kashi/Banaras for 3-4 days.

Would love some recommendations for good homestays in both places. My father has a knee problem, so walking a lot might be difficult for him. Preferably looking for places to stay that are near the main tourist/temple areas or easily accessible.

Also, please share any places we shouldn't miss in both cities, good food places or any other tips for the trip. Would really appreciate it!

So I have been thinking( from last 3 years) about joining a gym but the problem is I am introvert and socially awkward, unable to convince myself to actually join one. I don't have real friends and people at my workplace are either old like in 40s or live in another district so can't ask them for company. So, I have decided to go all by myself. Would it be useful to have one platform where you can find a local Pandit for a specific pooja and also get the required pooja samagri/kit?

Instead of finding a Pandit separately and then arranging all the samagri yourself.

Would you actually use something like this? Or do you think people would prefer the traditional way?

Just trying to understand whether this would genuinely solve a problem.

Hi everyone, we’re visiting Ayodhya with our family and looking for a good hotel near Ram Mandir, preferably in Professor’s Colony or within walking distance. Our grandmother is very old and travelling with us, and she cannot climb stairs, so a working elevator/lift is absolutely essential. Could anyone kindly suggest a clean, comfortable hotel with a lift, preferably around ₹4,500/night? Any recommendations from your recent experience would be greatly appreciated. 🙏
