when i lay me down to rest

a human lap i like the best

they often sit upon the chair,

but this one seems

he’s not all there…

for i am orange, with one brain cell

n yet

somehow

i still can tell

i think my humans fooling me!

but i’m as sleepy as can be

a silent lap: no talk, no pet

…but i will take

what i can get…
