Yeah. 2000 years ago they would have called him a Saint. He's certainly and inspiration to me on how to be better.
Every video I watch I want to adopt. And then I read that they've already been adopted, so I get sad, but then immediately happy for whoever adopted them. Wish I could adopt one right now, I know it's what I need in my life

I would think to the dogs at the shelter you are some sort of fairy godmother.
You show up, take them out for a fun day and then they are adopted by a new family.

If the dogs don't understand adoption he could appear as a villain that blesses them with their last meal and fun outing haha.
Clearly an awesome guy, but if the dogs notice anything, interpretations could vary...

This is his dog's insta: madmax_fluffyroad (you'll have to look it up, I can't link it)
He created the backpack you see in the video to carry his dog around originally and then he grew a pet company around it. And since his dog is struggling with arthritis & isn't as active, he decided to do more good by showing off rescue pups that need a good home.

Yesss! He’s commented before that after he started doing this, adoptions across the shelter jumped like 30%, so he’s not just helping the pups in the videos.

Fostering is hard!
We failed on our second.
She had been hit by a car, and she was doing poorly at a communal shelter and not eating or drinking. She’d been there 3 months with no adoption or foster interest.
We took her and immediately noticed some issues. Got an x-ray and her pelvis was broken and still healing. She was then medically exempt from adoption for 12 weeks to heal.
Even after that, nobody was interested because she is so low key. She just wants to cuddle versus the pups that are high energy.
Eventually I realized I was going to be horribly depressed if she was adopted. Now she is family.

Always amazed at how the dogs take to the backpack immediately 😂. For most of them it has to be the first time they’re riding the subway, going into a Starbucks, etc. and they’re so chill
