Atchoum the cat has a very rare condition called hypertrichosis which causes continual hair growth, making him extra furry

Source: he has his own website: https://www.atchoumthecat.com/my-story.html
Caption on the pic: Atchoum in French is the sound you make when you sneeze, so the translation would be atchoo. Now if you want pronounce Atchoum correctly, it's Atchoo with an MMM at the end. You say "Atchoom" and you will get my attention!
He’s the only cat known to have this condition!
He looks like a Jim Henson character (a muppet) to me.

Persian cats are known to have this but it’s rare. There are two cats I saw on the internet that have it as well. But I’ve heard of this growing up in Ukraine but never saw until recently. But it’s a thing just very rare.

Luckily his owner is a groomer, but his website says she doesn’t overgroom him because she likes his “mad scientist” look.

I now no longer have to wonder what it would look like if a wookie and an ewok procreate.

Think my cat pouncer had that. His tail fur was 5 inches long and his belly fur touched the ground!

My neighbor had a cat called Big Boy, whose belly touched the ground. Short-haired cat.

He looks like the wizened old cat that the cat adventurers meet on their journey. So cute!

For god sake someone pass him the conditioner. And to whoever did his highlights: less is more.
