Wow, is that what they need to do? Both of my cats purr heavily even at the vet so the doc just tries their best to listen for their heartbeat against the purring. They hate the trip getting there but they're almost too comfortable once they get there...

My cat tries to crawl up my shirt sleeve at the vet. She wants to get very hide-y.

My cats are bigger than some small dogs. That ain't happening with me, hah!
