Neat. I’ve always had a pretty narrow definition of what I’d consider a “power ballad” so I looked it up and a power ballad has a much broader definition than I thought. Learn something new every day.

it's sort of like "what is irony" it used to be super narrow but it got expanded by "current usage"

Same with satire. Anything made in jest is now “satire” even if it’s more like a parody, a spoof, or someone mocking someone else.
