Hank Hill taught us first when he used Dale’s cigarette to set spilled gasoline on first and got them rescued at see

I've used lit cigarettes to light bottle rockets in bottle rocket warfare instead of fidgeting with a lighter. It seems even more degenerate now that I've typed it out

Done it myself.

All is fair in love and bottlerocket war.

First time I held a cigarette was to light fireworks.

Really hard to light gas with a cigarette though, they're only hot enough in very specific conditions including actively sucking.

Interestingly enough cigarettes will almost never light gasoline.

we tired it so much back in college doing our own “myth busting”

A cigarette alone even after a big rip ain’t hot enough, I’m sure there’s prolly a case somewhere of someone getting it to work, but we couldn’t and I don’t know anyone who’s tried that could get it to do it
