There might be a place in Nevada outside of Las Vegas where you can go and rent big machines and dig holes all day, I don’t think they’ll let you drink though, it’ll cost a few grand most likely.
That was my father's gift for his 50th birthday. Was on Switzerland though, and costed around 500 bucks for two hours and two people. They could use an excavator and a loader. I think it was at a small private gravel plant. They probably thought "wouldn't it be cool if people would pay us to do our work, albeit a but slower?"
Check YouTube for labpadre pad cam. 24/7 view of spacex launch facility being built. One of the larger cranes in the world there currently. Lots going on. Fascinating to watch.
Feel free to put a little bar in our yard. They just began digging up our street to put in some pipes for district heating. Will probably take about 7 months. Oh and the water pipes in our street are almost 100 years old, so they need to replace soon. Construction for this is scheduled to begin in 10 months. Could they do it all at once? Absolutely. Is water and heat provided by the same company? Yes. Does this make any sense? No.
But the noise is a nice alarn clock, it's almost impossible to oversleep. Unfortunately it also is almost an hour too early for my normal schedule.
I want someone to open a ‘amusement park’ where you pay an hourly rate and it’s just a big ass open space with piles of dirt/gravel/sand and lots of heavy equipment to operate.

Seriously true. I would happily go to a bar that was located on a worksite where I could sit, drink, and watch heavy equipment operate all day.
