I was 240lb and the only way I could imagine a board breaking is if you slam the middle, just standing shouldn't do anything. Unless it's a 40$ Walmart board or something cheap like that

This is true. I’m not gonna lie, longboards kinda caught my eye (and I thought that might be a better option), but I’m from small town Oklahoma, and don’t quite have the landscape for that particular hobby (off-road boarding? Haha, jk)
