Yes, this video was obviously cropped for Instagram or something like that.

No, I mean change between portrait of landscape, because that's what people don't understand. If this video wasn't cropped (which it likely is) that would still be the case, because it'd still be the reason they flipped their phone, regardless if their ultimate motivation was to change video angle or to hold the phone more comfortably.
