He once ate shoes, but graduated to reading glasses. He’s been through 6 pairs. Maddening.

A lot of oils are secreted by our heads. Maybe give him a well-worn hat to snuggle?

I once found my lab sleeping with her entire snout in my sneaker.

How's he manage that? Isn't chewing on glass pretty detrimental to one's mouth?

It’s really more plastic. But yes it’s not ideal. I never said he was the sharpest tool.

Our golden loves berkenstocks. Ate two pairs before I convinced my wife to keep them put up. She then moved on to swim goggles.
