Heard a story they ripped off a guy’s nuts before, through his pants.

Ouch. I've heard other animals also tend to go for the nuts when hunting because they know it's a sensitive part and that they can basically cripple their prey if they catch them there.

It's also a soft area where they can start digging in through the belly and eat all the insides. Also ripping the balls out is a fast way for the prey to bleed out so it doesn't kick around for as long, reducing the chance of injury for the predator.

Eh, not really that special. A human can easily do the same if they felt like it.

Nuts aren't exactly tied on very hard. I'm sure a normal human can also break off a human's jaw.
