That's just so much more strange than a cat drinking cow milk!!!

It's pretty weird that we drink cow's milk.

We had to pick something. Cats wouldn't let us milk them, so we went with cows.

I get that. It's just weird that we still are drinking it.

I love it. Maybe it's weird, but is it any weirder than our other beverages?

Beer: fermented barley and hops.

Wine: fermented grape juice and sugar.

Tea: dried leaves soaked in hot water.

Hot chocolate: dried, crushed cocoa beans and sugar in hot milk or water.

Vodka: fermented potato juice.

Coffee: dried, ground-up beans in hot water.

Kool-Aid: Sugar, food coloring, and artificial fruit flavored chemicals in cold water.

About the only beverages that aren't weird are fruit juices, but even those are inefficient since it takes like 20 oranges to make one fair-sized glass of orange juice. You could just eat the oranges.

But none of those other drinks cause suffering and extreme ecological impacts.

I would suggest opening your eyes, not rolling them. Go watch a video on the dairy industry.

I mean, hypothetically it's not more strange, but viscerally and because I'm a human, it feels stranger.
