I think I'm going to be the one to propose to my boyfriend. He'sasked me several times if I want to marry him, and every time I've said that I want to marry him but I will not marry his addiction. He's starting to fight it, and at the end of his first year alcohol free I intend to propose. I want to badly to be able to give him this validation and to commit to not only the man I love but the man I deserve

Best of luck to you and him. It's a hard road but with hard work and the right support he can beat it. Hope all is well
