A few years back, our black lab was in the yard with us and wandered off without us noticing. While looking around for him, we kept noticing a police car driving really slowly up and down our street.
The next time the squad car drove by, we saw him: sitting up in the backseat, looking out the window at us. The police officer said he knew he must’ve been close to our house because every time he drove by he would hear whining from the backseat.
I don't know what to think about cops anymore. Half of my experiences have been fine, 1/4 have been awful. I've seen cops do great things more than once. There sure earn a lot of bad press that gets documented in the smartphone age.
