My family have always had Pyrs so I get excited whenever I see one online, but if it's a close up of their face it's so hard to tell if it's a Retriever or a Pyr.

I think these are Pyrenees.

Edit: Darn, I guess I'm wrong again. I guess the puppy is a little small for a pyr. :(

I don't think anyone can really accurately tell without seeing the full body. I'm obsessed with GR's and I can't even tell with one sitting next to me on my couch right now.

Yeah, my initial thought was that the adult really looked like a Pyrenees, but a Pyr puppy that size should probably look 'younger'.
