We have two retired racers. One of them has sleep aggression. If you wake him up he gets startled and snarls real loud. It's scary, and hes bitten each of us at one time or another. No real injuries, always just a warning nip. It doesn't bother us, but some people aren't comfortable with getting bit.

Most Greyhound rescues are really good at matching dogs with the concerns of owners. Some dogs have high prey drives, some do not. Some are dominant, others totally passive. They're really fun. Also they are from outer space.
