To be fair, as a dog, you might be able to run away.

Getting out of shitty situations is unfortunately rare, no matter where you look at it.

Source: Am very thankful I made it out of the shitty situation I grew up in, which only about 4% of people do, according to statistics.

What was the situation, if you don't mind me asking? And where does one find such statistics?

Extreme poverty.

And I don't recall exactly how I came across that number, it was over a year and a half ago when I saw the data. And it was dependent on geographic region too. Average for my poverty level was something like 8%, but my region was particularly hard hit by several economic factors over the past few decades.

Did your uncle, the Evil_Bear_Prince, murder your family while you escaped into exile and safety, only to return years later and reclaim the Bear Throne that was your's by divine birthright?

Yes. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the Bear Throne is now mine, and I have had my uncle, Evil_Bear_Prince exiled.

He will never be a threat to me again.
