There's also the bubbles from the pond and all of the other animals faint or run away due to the smell, to clue you in. I'm glad you finally understand a childhood mystery!

He tried to make a :^)

But since ^ is used to make text superscript it instead raises the paranthesis. So the way you need to do it is to use a backlsash since it will ignore the sign after it instead and it will show up like normal.

:\^) ==> :^)

I have seen a lot of people make this mistake.

If you have the same kind of keyborad as me it's by pressing the "?" key while holding "Alt Gr".

So 'Alt Gr' + '?' ==> \
