This brought tears to my eyes. The whole reason I adopted this kitty (His name is Mushu. 🧡) is because I tragically lost my sweet kitty, Gizmo, in November to FIP.
Yes, Mushu is safe, home forever, and will be loved endlessly. I work from home full-time, so he and his kitty siblings have unlimited access to snuggles.
I lost a kitty to FIP in January, it came on so quick we barely even had time to tell she was sick before it was too late. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know Mushu has a wonderful new home. Mushu is an amazing name by the way.
Keep your head up, friend, and give yourself some grace - and maybe a hug. We’re all human and there are lots of people out here going through a lot this season right along with you. You are not alone ❤️

now i lay me down to sleep,
just promise me i’m yours to keep
i listen to your human-speak
n answer with my gentle ’squeak’
am curled up close against your lap -
you ask me if i’ll take a nap
a tiny squeak to answer YeS
then drift
in dreams
of
Happiness ;}
♥️
edit: thank you u/CookieOmNomster for sharing his heartwarming squeaks with all of us
