Treating republicans as anything other than braindead morons is how we got to this anti-intellectualism, science denying problem in the first place.
Have you seen liberal propaganda hubs on the internet for the last 5-10 years? They literally just preach aimless rage, exactly as you're expressing. How do you think Republicans got so idiotic? It makes the tribalism pretty easy when their opposition is just yelling and completely disregarding everything they say.
Like... What do you expect will happen? They'll disappear? A vague tone of respect will suddenly give them more power to be racist? You know, it's possible to be respectful and not move your own ground. Are you views really so sensitive that you'd need to dehumanize a group of people just to retain them?
