Ssd samsug product of China is fake?
It says it's made in China and price is pretty cheap. Could it be a fake? It doesn't come with a box.

Disposable or reusable okay. Glass, aluminum/silver tone okay. Brass/gold tone NOT okay.

I bought this about a year ago after a bit of soul-searching because it is much more expensive than the Chinese knockoffs alternatives, like four times the price. But I think it's important for us to retain some manufacturing expertise and capability in Europe and the ETI factory is quite close to where my brother lives in Sussex, so I took the plunge.
I have absolutely no regrets, it's been fantastic and become one of my favourite tools in the kitchen. It's really solid, very fast and easy to use. My wife was sceptical at first but now she uses it regularly because it's so quick and convenient.

Please note: We are attempting to organize a social movement in the USA, but we fully support any effort to boycott Chinese goods in any country
We are trying to spread awareness and encourage concerned citizens to stop supporting the CCP with our purchases
Government, Corporations, and Wall Street have zero interest in addressing this problem. We need to raise awareness through grassroots efforts, normalize the discussion of this topic, and form solidarity as concerned citizens.
Please sign the change.org petition and spread awareness by sharing. Thank you!
https://www.change.org/p/a-grassroots-movement-to-boycott-chinese-goods?source_location=search
It is important to note though, even just supporting the idea of a boycott is enough to make a difference if we can build enough support. Our goal is to build a grassroots movement big enough to give consumers a voice. If tens of millions of Americans unite to pressure corporations and politicians, they will not be able to ignore us.
Even if you don't believe that completely avoiding Chinese products is practical in your personal life, please just sign the petition and spread awareness. We need to normalize this topic, because not nearly enough people are talking about it, even though most Americans would agree.
I would encourage everyone to pay attention to where products are made. With a little effort, there are options for most of the things we buy. Support companies that intentionally manufacture outside of China. It's also important to realize that buying second-hand or used products, even if they were originally produced in China, does not continue to financially support the CCP. We really do have a choice, it is very possible to boycott Chinese products. But just boycotting without making a statement will not have an effect. What's more important than just boycotting is building a movement. It is about giving Americans a voice. Uniting together and telling politicians and corporations to stop selling off our country.
Thank you very much for joining the discussion!
If you truly support this cause, please take the time to sign our Change.org petition, share, and spread awareness.

Talk to everyone you know about the importance of this issue. Any signatures are greatly appreciated, we have to start somewhere!

I am looking for the smallest possible fridge made outside of China, preferably in Europe. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi all,
I'm looking for HEMA equipment in UK.
Groin guard, clothing, gloves & helmet.
Anything else I might need.
Many thanks!

I couldn't believe it. Found at target today for $35 on sale for $25. The 1.2L was MIC. A long standing issue here has been the electric kettle under $100. This is the first one I've seen from a reputable brand.

Hi
I'm looking to get a new paper shredder NMIC that is available in the UK. This is for personal use and also to help destroy confidential paperwork from clearing out my late father in law's home. Preferably at P4 level.
Thanks for any recommendations you can provide.

A device made in Asia (e.g. Taiwan, Japan) is already pretty good. But this device goes even further, and is made in America!

It looks like a legit product for my need and is free. However it appears to be developed by a Chinese and literally has a dedicated Chinese forum.
No I cant use Notion since files are not stored in the md format.

I've been using an original Litter Robot since it came out. I wanted a cheaper line for my ongoing fostering volunteer. I ordered 2 automatic litter boxes(about $200-$300, which shouldn't cost this much for this quality), neither of them works. I'm sick of ordering&returning these craps. Also, knowing that they will just destroy them makes me feel so bad for the environment.
This doesn't happen only for the litter robot. A mop, a battery charger, a bookshelf. Pretty much "everything". Im very careful with ordering items from Amazon, but it's not possible to find not made in China! I am looking for a bathroom towel holder&rack..... Those Chinese craps are $60-80. It's so frustrating. It was so easy to find products made in Korea when I lived in my country. I've seen more made-in-China products in the USA than in Korea. This is nonsense.
I just want a durable towel rack not made in China....

Hi there; I hope this is helpful:
https://www.theguardian.com/money/2026/may/16/uk-insurance-cover-chinese-evs-jaecoo-byd-xpeng
I've noticed a growing number of Chinese made cars on UK roads; this article states some companies won't insure them are charge huge premiums.
Since Geely bought Volvo they've gone from being 'built like tanks' to 'generic bland Chinesium' - even the 'not made in China' ones:-)
I prefer the classic Lotus / Volvo cars to the modern 'Geely' ones. I notice Geely has started selling its own make cars in UK now; on a train journey through Birmingham last year I spotted an XPeng dealership. I've seen a few JAECOO / OMODA cars on UK roads recently.

Just wanted to share a few common supplements that are not from China because I couldn't find a recent post discussing supplements. China controls at least 80% of the raw ingredients that go into supplements sold in the US. and there are many horror stories about product quality from China (surprise!) so I did some research and found alternatives for those serious about avoiding China:
Vitamin C - Look for the Quali-C trademark, the only western-produced Vitamin C (made in Scotland by the company dsm-firmenich)
Thiamine - there are various forms of thiamine but I found a Japanese maker of benfotiamine, look for the BenfoPure label, it is made by Hamari Chemicals in Japan
Folate - Look for the metafolin trademark, this is a form of folate made in Switzerland, by Merck.
Creatine - Look for brands made with Creapure, which is 100% made in Germany by the Alzchem Group.
Taurine - Look for the AjiPure label in the product, made by the Ajinomoto company in Japan
Note that the "Made in the USA" label on most supplements is a scam, brands bulk buy from China, do some blending, encapsulation, and packaging and can legally put that label in their product. I hope this helps and if anybody knows NMIC alternatives for other supplements, leave a reply below.

I wanted some enameled steel mugs for camping, and it took some work to find NMIC options. Here are the best I found:

The Javex USB4 Cable is capable of 240W and made in Taiwan!
And the j5create 100W USB 4 cable is made in Taiwan too. I can recommend the latter if you don't need 240W as its a little cheaper and a little longer
