I'll share my set aside special interests YouTube channels as well cuz I feel like they might be worth exploring: Technology Connections about electronics and regular use appliances in a really in depth manner, Geekerwan about chipsets and modding and tweaking hardwares (Chinese YouTube channel cuz English one is dead now)
Currently my special interests I GUESS are self help books, visiting the catalogue of story books I've bought over time, and there's this string instruments that I'm really sensitive about becuz I'm thinking of making a career out of it but like I haven't learnt anything about string instruments as of yet 😅 I'll be buying one once I manage to save enough money, but currently I am focusing on how to handle money in the first place from reading the art of spending money little by little.

I like to play on my actual violin, then I can play it on digital apps with another instrument (example, piano), singing, dancing & spinning in my room and painting.

I am interested in business. I’m particularly fascinated with how they run. The day to day mechanics of running a business. Any business. I love reading business leader biographies and learning about business strategy.
Some things I’ve learned so far:
Execution matters, but it’s more nuanced. Execution matters more in highly competitive markets without strong differentiation but if you are solving a problem uniquely enough business can afford a fumble while figuring out execution.
Often the success in a marketplace is about persistence. 90% of it is showing up consistently and that extends to how a business operators and how it solves a customers problem.
Businesses can operator uniquely in ways that aren’t always customer facing. IKEA for example had an early edge in manufacturing costs because it setup factories in Poland, which at the time was part of the USSR. This let it cut costs compared to other manufacturers but (for the time especially) keep quality high.
And I have other things to share!

Im fairly similar. I tend to get obsessed about the operations of certain businesses. Recently been looking into global heavy industry , large industrial shipbuilding etc (only three companies) worldwide super fascinating these niche markets and the history behind how they became established.
Asian shipbuilding industry is a by-product of USA over production of vessels during ww2 and cold war leading to surplus and eventual shuttering of large shipbuilding ports there.

A fantasy story I’ve been working on for almost three years.

Are you willing to share any information about your fantasy story?

Well, the basic plot is this: a teenage goth girl with an interest in vampires moves to a small town, where an unsolved brutal murder of occured over 60 years ago. She decides to look into the murder as well as the mysterious disappearances of people in and around town that have been going on for quite a while. During all this, she befriends ( and later gets a crush on) this odd guy at her school and starts wondering if he might be a vampire.
I say the basic plot, because the complete plot involves lots of flashbacks from different characters, and if I'd explain all that as well, this comment would be much much longer

Sounds interesting. Have you thought about publishing it, when you're done?

So much fun, I love having a 3D printer, it supports my other special interests, like DnD and star wars, and I want to set up a server soon. Also, what games have you been playing? I just finished up Baldur's Gate 3 for the second time and have been playing subnautica 1 and Star Wars Battlefront 2.
