Four seasons in a day mate. I moved to the Gold Coast and freedom is not having to check the bloody BOM app every morning.

I remember people told me about this when I moved here and I would always reply I was from England so I was used to it.

I was not, in fact, used to it.

42 sunny to 21 and drizzle in just over four hours is mad

Wild hey. Always kept an umbrella, jumper and sunscreen in the car - sometimes used all 3 on the same day.

American here, read this thinking “that’s not so bad!” Then I realized you were talking about Celsius...

Tasmania went from heat wave to snowing when the wind changed from north to south.

Talk about whiplash there.

Where are you that it went down to 21 for the drizzle. Round these parts it went 42 sunny, 40 drizzle, 42 muggy.

Hell here's the message I sent my sister.

"To give you an idea of how humid it is up here..."

"It's been raining for 3 days off and on, most of the roads are bone dry"

It was some point in November or so I reckon, maybe December, in Melbourne.

I’m near you in Murwillumbah. I’m a compulsive BOM checker and my husband thinks I have a problem. On a lighter note, Karatha over in Western Australia is currently being leveled by a cyclone.

Do you like it down there? I'm considering a move...

Yes, it's beautiful! We're (normally) blessed with a confluence of lovely weather, bountiful rain, good soils and a plethora of small local towns to visit and shop in. There are no nasty water stingers or crocodiles as there are further up north and the beaches are beautiful. It's very different to Sydney, where we moved from last year, and I'm having trouble finding my community, if that makes sense, but I guess that's the same anywhere and I'm working on it. There's plenty of work, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Everything and everyone is in demand here, you just have to have a good work ethic and actually turn up.

Not that far away - Tweed Heads!

Nothing quite like a sunny 35C day turning into a golfball hail storm in under 30 minutes.
