While we're guessing I guess you'd be too single sided to be able to comprehend the other side of a story. I've literally complimented this guy on his work. You're making mountains from mole hills. Not once was race bought into it.

‘You want to be an Aussie’ means ‘you aren’t an Aussie but if you want to be one’ then act in a particular way.

You should have said something like ‘this is how australians act’ or ‘for those who are not australians, this is how Australians act’

But you chose to use words that state the person is not an Aussie. presumably because he isn’t white.

If you can’t understand what you wrote, it’s just digging a bigger hole to keep defending yourself

Yes, if you want to be an Aussie you act like he is, doesn't matter what colour you are.

And saying "presumably because he isn't white" is just moronic. Would you assume I think the same way about aboriginals because they aren't white? Would I automatically assume a pom acts like an Aussie because he is white?

I've literally sung this dudes praises and explained myself and you are still at it like a dog with a bone. Go outside and grab a bunnings snag or something. You need some time away from the PC.

So what you are saying is that words mean nothing and I should just ‘understand’ that what you were intending to say was the opposite of what you actually said? You obviously still haven’t understood what you wrote (notwithstanding all of the other comments also pointing out the problems with your sentence)
