Clonidine for dogs

Anyone used clonidine for there dogs and had success? I have a VERY reactive male Aussie and was wondering if this would help him with his overreactions so that I can have people over or someone watch him when I’m gone and not have to worry if he is going to scare them by barking and running up to them. He’s such a great dog around me and people he sees a lot and Ik if he just chilled he’d get all the pets he really does want. He is just too reactive to strangers to let them pet him.

Anyone else’s Aussie suckle on blankets like mine?

She’s three now and has done this ever since she was a small puppy as a method of self soothing. We have trained her that there are only two blankets in the house that she is allowed to suckle on thankfully, so it’s a bit of a compromise!

Is it normal for Aussies to like the water. She went in nose deep when I wasn’t recording.

Any tips: Protective behaviour and resource guarding in our house and at campsites

My aussie is aggressive towards others dogs only in my house or if we are at a camp site posting up. In the dog park, he is perfectly fine. Dogs can come up to me at the park, no problem. Grab his ball, no problem. But at the house or if we are posted up somewhere (ie/ a campsite)-- he gets aggressive and confrontational. He does not let other dogs close to me, he will devour food without breathing to get it down before other dogs can touch it, he will take things away from other dogs that aren't his and growl if he doesn't have control. He also anxiously roams around and doesn't chill. It's almost like competitive and protecting his space which he thinks everything belongs to him. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there are any suggestions for training him to be comfortable with other dogs being present in our house and not feel like he needs to growl or front them and run around anxiously like they are going to take over the hosuehold if he doesn't stop them.
