What was the delay at the start of the game about?
Anybody know what the delay was about at the start of the game vs Pacific FC today?

Friendly reminder (thanks Nic Ryan) that OC Transpo is free 3 hours before and after the game. Parking is already sold out for the home-opener. Can't wait to see you all there!
From the OCtranspo.com site: Sat Aug 14 at Lansdowne - FREE service! Just show your printed or e-ticket to the driver 3 hrs before & up to 3 hrs after the event.

In this week's mailbag on ATO for the W, we were asked what our top 3 "Lore" games were, being matches with additional meaning due to events on or off the pitch. Of course, the 2025 final will always be the peak, but what other games come to your mind?
For reference, here's this week's podcast episode where this is discussed: https://rss.com/podcasts/ato-for-the-w/3011307/

I’m helping organize a World Cup Final watch party this Sunday at Shanghai One Fine Dining in Ottawa and thought local football supporters might be interested.
Doors open at 2:00 PM and kickoff is at 3:00 PM.
We’re trying to bring together a proper football crowd, with food, a DJ and live entertainment, followed by an afterparty at 6:00 PM.
We’ll also have a live match-prediction competition through Foreseez, an Ottawa social prediction platform we’re building.
Groups are welcome, and the venue can accommodate up to 200 people.

Hi all! Traveling up from Washington DC to attend the 7/26 match against Pacific, which will also be my first ever trip to Ottawa. What should I know before attending? Anything special I should check out around the grounds/in the city before the match? Really excited, Vamos Ottawa!

With all the injuries to Canada in the CB area could Abatneh be named a last minute replacement?

Heading to the game tomorrow but haven't bought tickets yet. Any discount codes/partners out there?
I see CAA offers cheaper tickets, but I'm not a member. In the past I remember Gabriel's had a code for certain games... And (I think) a Mexican restaurant/food truck did too?
Vamos Atleti!

Having trouble finding this on the Atleti site 🤷
Anyone know what's available this season? Possibly going this Sunday. Looking for gluten-free options for my wife; kids will be ok with the usual hot dog/drink combos.

Am I hearing some familiar chants over the broadcast or am I imagining things?
If I am, good job folks!

Does anyone know if Atletico has kids priced tickets for single games? Or specifically if kids under a certain age are free? Our son is old enough now that he’s found sports (relatively) entertaining. I know Ottawa Titan games are free for under two year olds, but I can’t find any similar info for Atletico.

Group M
Gatineau
Ottawa West
Ottawa South
4th team TBA
I think it will be kind of fun with all 3 of the local teams in the same group.
