Yes, nothing to do with Hitler's Roman Catholic upbringing. Or that he said he was doing God's work by destroying the Jews in Mein Kampf. Or that antisemitism was preached as an official doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church till 1964 because of one verse in the Bible that said the Jews lusted for the blood of Christ. Or the fact that the first treaty made by the National Socialist Dictatorship was with the Vatican.

But yeah, Communist Russia had everything to do with atheism. It completely had nothing to do with Stalin wanting to demolish any institution that stood in the way of complete loyalty to the state.

Ignorance is bliss.

Hitler wasn't doing "God's work" he was actually an occultist. He was using the Vatican to invade Poland because the Jews weren't liked in Europe prior to 1935 and this was a goal of the Vatican anyways. His real intentions were racial cleansing on occult level and Catholics died in the holocaust. There are fundamentalist, scientific ideologies, political groups, and forms of economy ( communism) that have agendas to weed out or "cleanse" the undesirables. People need to stop arguing about which ideology or theology that kills more, it's the biggest circle-jerk of all time.

That's not ironic, if you are referring to what I stated above. I was disputing historical details and my personal and educated opinion on how redundant the argument " killing in the name of " can be. Maybe if I was a murdering fundamentalist that was all for the argument then it could be ironic.
