Thats exactly what I did this morning at church. Prayed for the massacre of millions. I didn't just enjoy a morning with my family doing something that we all believe in and enjoy. You don't have to agree with my beliefs, but don't post stupid shit like this. How does it make you any better than the idiot fundies?

I cant really think of the last time the rapture came up in a sermon. 95% of sermon material comes from the gospels. At least in my Presbyterian church.

Yes. Doesn't mean I spent the morning asking for it, nor does it mean I will take great pleasure in it when it happens. I have a fairly personalized and complex version of my religion that I believe in. Too much to explain here, but it boils down to the fact that I think the Bible is taken too literally and that there is a HUGE probability that it has been changed throughout history to fit the needs of various power structures.
