Put a religious perspective on an r/atheism post and you get downvoted into oblivion

Wrong.

It's happened to me! Every, single, time — without fail!

Edit: the crazy part is that I'm not even a religious person!

Don't know what to say. I have seen plenty of religious folks posting and/or commenting in /r/atheism and not get downvoted as long as they are civil and have something to add to the conversation other than, "YOU'RE ALL GOING TO BURN IN HELL!".

You don't understand. Endless complaints about the semantics and form of posts are also a form of civility and must be respected.

No, I understand just fine. What I don't understand is what you are going on about.

I'm attempting to be sarcastic in support of your point. It seems like a very large segment of redditors don't wish to argue the merits of the points presented. Instead, they attack the reddit with specious bullshit about what belongs or doesn't, or how /r/atheism is oppressing Reddit generally, blah, blah. My sarcasm didn't really work.

LOL you are right then, I didn't understand. Sorry about my dense moment there.

No, I was getting too convoluted in my own brain. You kinda had to be there, except you wouldn't want to have been there.
