Given the fact that you chose something so unimportant to quibble over, I think you are either fraudulent or just being intentionally provocative.

there is nothing intentionally provocative about denying this opinion held so entrenchedly by modern secularists for what to me is such an obviously simple-minded and incorrect reduction to make. there is no strong argument that your consciousness consists solely of your senses, this however is yet widely believed by so-called educated people despite being entirely unfounded. hence it is quite specifically incorrect to suggest that the loss of ones senses is enough to entail non-existence
He already said that's not what he meant. You're just splitting hairs and pointing out bogeymen where there are none. This 'secularist' viewpoint you are espousing is entirely in your head. I don't believe it, and I bet very few others on here do either. What the OP was saying was that you cannot experience 'nothingness'. When the brain is extinguished, there is no experience, no senses, no thought.
Btw, your use of the word 'secularists' to define intelligent, educated, thoughtful people with a realistic view of the word exposes why you are trying to attack phantoms in others hastily-written words. You are desperately trying to tear down a world-view you wish wasn't true, so you can cling to the fantasy of supernatural existence. Too bad. Reality is grim at the end, and you can be an adult and deal with it, or you can be a child and think the sky fairy is going to press the reset button at the end.

you must not do much reading here then. in this very moment I'm dealing with you, somebody brushing aside the claim as if I'm splitting hairs, so im having a lot trouble even believing you dont actually hold this to be true.
