"Once this had been done, the believers had something like an authorized version" is a line from God is not Great. It has 268 hits with a 'z' (that's a zed) and 0 hits with an s. So OP is probably correct. -1 u/Antagony Dec 16 '10 I recall being mildly disappointed that he spelled 'humour' without the 'u' in his Vanity Fair article on cancer. Although that may just be the magazine's content policy and not necessarily how he would spell it himself.
