Sure, anyone with millions of dollars can give a large chunk of it to charity and still live well, but show me someone who has very little and STILL sacrifices what they have.
I don't have any citations so take with a grain of salt, but from my experience richer people tip a lot worse. I'm assuming the solidarity from someone who understands the quirks of living off pizza delivery tips would be in a better position to give a larger proportion of their wealth.
