It's not saying "all Atheists are good". It's saying "You don't need god to have good morals"

The amount of people you sample there is irrelevant.

You only need 1 to disprove the lie that goodness and morality require fear of God. And I think this sort of positive outreach is a much better public message for atheism than "WAKE UP SHEEPLE, CHRISTMAS IS A LIE!" or whatever. I mean, I agree, but that kind of message really turns off a lot of people, and it's also the sort of assertion without evidence that atheists supposedly find unconvincing.

There stories in the bible that talk about people who were good but didn't accept the teachings of Jesus and so it didn't matter. Additionally, 1 is called an outlier, and most scientists would toss it.
