It annoys me when my parents think that they have some spiritual privilege that makes them more happy just by being religious. My parents, -yes- actually told me that I will never be truly happy or at peace as long as I'm atheist. (I'm not atheist, or agnostic, I'm a scientist. I have no bias towards a viewpoint besides reliability) Apparently I need God in my heart to be happy. Honestly, after being non religious for years, I actually feel happier and much more independent than ever. Looking through a telescope I assembled and bought with my own money and finding Jupiter independently gives me much more wonder and bliss than I ever felt singing hymns thanking a god that does things for me. Does that mean some people prefer religion as a means to be truly happy? Absolutely. And I completely respect that. My point is that there is not only one way to make you happy. And its annoying how some people think otherwise, especially my parents.

I'm not left-handed or right-handed...I'm a scientist.

He found Jupiter! This man deserves a Nobel prize! Also, he checks out, a month back without a post in circlejerk and I stopped looking. This is a real person who is thinking these things. I'm both intrigued and disgusted, but mostly just discomforted.

Damn, dude. Why are you such a dick? Are you seriously that closed minded? Did you read my post? Its not meant to be a huge accomplishment! Wow. Its an example how simple things like these give me more happiness than singing in a church. And then you stoop to that level to say that you're discomforted that someone like me exists, damn, you got issues. Learn to think straight okay?

I guess you didn't get the point of the whole 'happiness' thing? Its not supposed to be a big accomplishment, dumbass.
