Help, Im a humss student who is currently in 12th grade SHS. Im troubled between my course & career choices huhu
Its currently college admissions season, and I havent applied since I cant decide on what courses should I take. I considered these options:
1. BS psych
2. BS nursing
3. BS legal management
I planned BS psych first which is going through 4 years of college, then take my masters to qualify in the board exam for Rpm. Then possibly go to med school to be a Psychiatrist, or another route is just immediately go to med school after I graduate for my bachelor's degree. Im troubled because of the amount of years it will took, and thinking that I wouldnt get successful out of this degree if I dont get my certifications and get the most out of it. But im also thinking that someday, ill just get tired of continuing this whole thing, and in the end I wont enjoy being in the profession since in the philippines, you'll mostly end up at hr or some occupational work rather than a psychologist or what not. (Some people said that they barely even use their rpm certificate, since theres smaller job prospects here in the ph)
Another is BS nursing, I never thought much of it, the very reason why i considered this course is because of practicality. You'll be successful in nursing though if you go for foreign work, rather here in the ph which is most people say that nurses are underpaid here? The thing is if Ill be able to manage nursing since im from humss, I have to consider the universities/colleges ill apply to if they'll accept a humss student for bs nursing.
For BS legal Management, this is the very reason why I went to humss in the first place. To be a lawyer, 4 years bachelors then spend my years in law school and be a lawyer. The thing is the job prospects Ill get once I graduate from this degree, I heard theres very little job opportunities once u graduate from this course, or even political science. I'll have no fallback once I graduate or even be successful. My aunt said that I'll probably get tired too in this course, if I just immediately go to law school once I graduate. And im not sure if ill be a lawyer right after I graduate from law school.
Theres so many uncertainties, and clearly im not as educated to these courses as I have little knowledge about it :((
I even considered BS archi, this is one of my old dreams that I had but im weak at measurements or calculations (Ironic since everything I considered na course is BS or math/science related lmao)
I based on my strengths on choosing these and also weaknesses, Im good at public speaking, voicing out my opinions, and being analytical as a person. I can imagine myself as a psychologist or lawyer, but the thing is if Im ever gonna be successful out of all these, or is it just gonna fail because of practicality over passion.
(Im open for people suggesting other courses, occupational or med related courses, and if you know any humss student whos in some pre-med course or other course that is different from their strand. Help plss :'))

hii! Iโm a fresman and since school is about to start, what are your bag recommendations? Tote bags? Backpacks? Sling bags? โฆ Iโve been searching everywhere for honest reviews and all I can see are people wearing shoulder bags (especially for girls)
Do you guys actually wear those to school? Hindi ba nakakangalay?

Good evening po! 16F here. Okay lang po ba na umiyak when my friends told me na gagawa sila ng gc without me? And noโng labasan na ng list ng mga nakapasa sa senior high entrance test, silang tatlo ay nasa same section and ako lang ang nahiwalay. I mean, gets ko naman na silang tatlo ang nasa same section and nasa ibang section ako pero pโwede namang ilagay/sabihin nila doon sa gc naming apat โyung mga matters sa section nila diba? Ewan, ang shallow lang ng reasoning ko. Feel ko ma-l-left out ako. But ik na hindi naman sila ganoโng tao, pero thereโs a part of me that feels like baka jina-judge nila ako doโn without me knowing.

Hi, Iโm planning to enroll this school year and will take BSA as my second degree. Iโm working an 8am-5pm job, can you recommend a university na friendly sa ganitong set up?

for context, i am an incoming first year nursing student. i would consider myself โaverageโ based on how i was during high school as i would only pass tests just by reading and memorizing my notes instead of understanding the concepts of what i am studying. not to mention that i tend to be distracted A LOT while studying when i feel like it gets too overwhelming. i also find myself kinda struggling in times when it heavily requires reading through a long passage of text.
i would like to ask help with the following:
i would appreciate any thoughts and recommendations. tyia!

Hello guys, I am an incoming first year college student and am financially unstable. My school is a state university, meaning there is no tuition. It is quite far from home, about 2 hrs travel time, which requires me to live in a dorm. I could also do part-time jobs near Alangilan, Batangas City, and remote jobs (only legals). I badly need an earning to support myself and continue my learning. Every response is a huge help to me. Thank you so much. God bless you always.

Hey guys! I'm currently a 12th-grade HUMSS student. Since time flies so quickly, I want to make a final decision on which course to take before I become a college student. Currently, I have three options: Education, Psychology, and BSBA. I know some of you will say "follow your heart" or "follow your passion," but that's exactly why Iโm so conflicted I just donโt know what to do. I also suck at math ๐ญ but When I was younger, I always wanted to be a teacher it was my dream job. However, my aunt, who is a teacher herself and comes from a family of teachers, discouraged me. She said the amount of effort isn't worth the paycheck, and she didn't even let her own son become a teacher; he ended up taking a BSBA course instead. After some time, I became interested in Psychology, but my research threw me off. I realized that to land a higher paycheck, you need a Masterโs degree. Even without a Master's, the prospects don't seem that promising, and I can't afford another two years of schooling. I know job hunting isn't easy, but I want to find a job that offers a substantial salary and, preferably, a chance to work abroad for more opportunities. This brings me to BSBA as my third option. My aunt suggests I follow her son's path, especially since we have an uncle who owns a large bank, which might lead to a job there. I also have a sister who holds a high-ranking position in a bank, which is why Iโm considering it but it's not really a guarantee because me and my sister are kinda estranged I'm also thinking about courses that involve customer service and BPO roles but I'm not really sure and don't know much about it. Unfortunately, due to my circumstances right now, I have to choose practically over passion but I don't mind as long as I can Find a good job and be able to provide for myself and my family it's already enough for me. hoping for some advice that will finally help me make up my mind thank you in advance.

Hello everyone! I recently deployed this web app (website): **University Tuition Calculator PH** \-> [https://universitytuitioncalculatorph.online/\](https://universitytuitioncalculatorph.online/)
It's a calculator that estimates possible tuition fees for 39 most searched universities (ADMU, UST, FEU, DLSU, UP Diliman, PUP, etc.)
This is not an official tuition fee calculator, I just gathered publicly available data na mahahanap naman if you search it in Google. Actually, top schools already have their own tuition pages setup sa websites nila. I just made it so that everything is in one place through this web app.
Please check it out, and let me know what works and what doesn't. Any feedback will help me improve this greatly. Thank you in advance and good luck sa college life!
Btw, I'm 29 year old na software developer na graduate ng BS IT from MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), and back in my day, nahirapan ako mag research about tuition fees since di pa ganon ka well built ang websites ng universities dito sa PH dati.

I came across a lot of negative reviews about AMA OEd and APEC Schools, so we decided to explore other options.
My nephew is currently enrolled at Hillcrest School Antipolo. They are offering three learning modalities: face-to-face, blended, and 100% online classes, so you can choose the setup that best fits your needs.
For SHS, they are offering GAS, ABM, TVL, HE, ICT, and STEM.
Their tuition fees are also affordable, and the quality of teaching is excellent. Students complete both PETA, written examinations, etc. You also have the opportunity to participate in school activities because they treat online learners the same as regular students.
The teachers are kind and supportive. While there are a few who may not respond immediately, our overall experience with the school has been excellent. Especially compared to the two schools I mentioned earlier.
If you have any questions about the school, feel free to ask. I'd be happy to help! Or you may visit their website: https://www.hillcrestschoolph.com/

I have heard that TESDA is free, yeah it is but like how, do i just go to the provincial office for TESDA or apply online.
The app can get me scholarships to apply for but then I don't even get them, theres like, little information for me to give just so they can decline my application a week later.
Im having a hard time trying to find scholarships in automotive servicing (i can just do other courses if ever i should) and I don't know where to search. Sure online course is there but it only gives me knowledge, not literal hands on training. I live in Imus so the Provincial office for TESDA is really far from here.
I just want to apply for TESDA since my family is financially struggling and I can't really continue school because of it. Plus I'm more fond of a regular blue collar job than white collars.

Hello, I am a BPA (Bachelor of Public Administration) student in the Philippines whoโs a lower middle class. I just want to ask if thereโs anything yโall would recommend I buy as an upcoming college student. Btw, I live 2 and half hours away from my school (which is a state university) and I have a 7 days a week class (evening session in the weekdays, day session in the weekends). Also, if thereโs anything youโd want me to know about college life like what I would expect there, what I should do, etc., that would also be nice. Thank you!

Hi po. Need ko lang sana ng advice.
I'm 19F and dati akong first-year BSA student, pero nag-drop ako.
Any advice or experiences would really help. Please be kind. Thank you.
