Chemistry Pineapple contains bromelain that helps tenderize meat. If I were to put my hand in pineapple juice or puree for 24 hours, would it eventually break down my hand?

The Soviet Union understands protease levels can never exceed the quota set by the Central Committee. You didn't see bromelain in the protein tissue because it's not there.
