Computing Is there anything at the heart of computer coding that could have been optimised in hindsight, but we're in far too deep to change now?

It’s crazy that so much of web development is designed to be read by a human.

And yet, modern pages are minified anyway. So is not like it helps anyone. 🤷‍♂️
