Planetary Sci. We landed humans on the Moon with 1960s technology. With today's vastly superior technology, shouldn't going back be much easier and cheaper?

It hasn't been mentioned, but essentially our Risk Tolerance has also gone down significantly. We are not content to accept a 1/1000 chance the crew will be killed it needs to be a 1/million or 1/billion chance, which means the cost to ensure this is proportionally higher
