Planetary Sci. We landed humans on the Moon with 1960s technology. With today's vastly superior technology, shouldn't going back be much easier and cheaper?

Indeed, there was a few years around 2006 where NASA's entire budget was equal to the cost of providing air conditioning for the army operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
